Ralph Moar Junior, or “Junior” Moar, is the current Canadian Light Heavyweight Boxing Champion, and his story is as inspirational as they come. Moar’s childhood was wrought with conflict, both from his Native father and Caucasian mother, but from the streets around him. Growing up in Northern Winnipeg, Moar had to constantly dodge negative influences, drugs and gang members. He eventually found something he loved that would keep him on the straight path. Boxing. He trained hard as a teenager and found himself rocketing up the amateur ranks. Unfortunately, the streets caught up with him.
