Pharmacy Advisory Council
The Pharmacy Advisory Council (PAC) represents
professional and clinical expertise in addition to varying types
and sizes of member institutions. The PAC is composed of: twenty-nine
Directors of Pharmacy or an appropriate delegate who is a licensed
pharmacist of a member facility.
The purpose of the Pharmacy Advisory Council is
to assess the value to our members and value from a purchasing perspective.
Our members' assessment of value being the primary consideration.
Objectives of the Pharmacy Advisory Council:

Review and evaluate the quality of products
under consideration for contracts

Review and evaluate quality of suppliers

Evaluate proposals and make recommendations
for contract awards

Review contract changes

Idenitfy product and service required improvements

Identify contracting issues
Develop the concepts and framework for new GPO initiatives
